COMMENTSrs2283497 was negatively associated with allergy in asthmatic patients. rs2283497 was significantly associated with skin prick test for Periplaneta americana, Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus or atleast one of the allergen tested. rs2283497 was significantly associated with sIgE for Blomia tropicalis and Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus.
